{ road trip in the southwest }
Personal / Photography / Travel / 6 Comments / May 24, 2011

Before wedding season kicked off this year, Aaron and I decided to take our annual trip to the Southwest this year! We flew into Albuquerque, rented a car, and drove our way through some magnificent sites through New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, and Arizona! It’s such an amazing part of the country, and I know we barely scratched the surface. A trip back one day will be in order to catch all the other wonderful spots we missed. The scenery was incredible! I couldn’t take enough photos of all the spectacular rock formations, it’s unlike anything I’ve seen before. The sky was so blue, the sun was shining, and the food was so good! Some of my favorite cities/sites were White Sands, Santa Fe, Taos, Ghost Ranch, Valley of the Gods, Monument Valley, Sedona, and of course, the Grand Canyon!

Breathtaking photos, Yasmin!! They all have such depth and richness. Landon and I just drove through Arizona and New Mexico, but it was at night and we were trying to get to Texas as fast as we could, so not as cool as this. 🙂 Hope you’re doing well! Xo, Katie
