Alia & Patrick’s Seattle engagement session was a blast! It was a bit cold, but we had a day of no rain! We started at Queen Anne Park with a wonderful view of the Seattle cityscape, then went to Gas Works Park with the cool old gas structures, and finished our afternoon at the breathtaking Seattle Arboretum. These two are an incredible couple and I’m so excited to be part of their wedding at Sodo Park in July!
Destination weddings, love them. Having the opportunity to photograph another part of the world is wonderful! While in Oahu for Julie & Caleb’s wedding I had the chance to check out more of the island and one place on my list was the turtle beach! They were the biggest turtles I’ve ever seen! Lining the turtle beach was the set of the television show, Lost. I didn’t see any of the filming going on, but it was neat to see their props set up!
I couldn’t have a more beautiful friend, inside & out. Alia is simply stunning. I went up to Seattle to take Alia & Patrick’s engagement pictures and I’m so excited to share them! Stay tuned for the rest. Until then, here’s a sneak peek.
Baby Blakely is as precious as they get! Here she is about a week old and so sweet. She’s such a good baby and makes the cutest little noises. Her parents are incredible and so loving. They’re a beautiful family and I’m so excited to see Blakely grow!

The night before Julie & Caleb’s breathtaking beach wedding, we met for sunset engagement pictures. An incredible sunset matched with a spectacular couple, it was a wonderful evening!
Beauty and warmth. Julie and Caleb’s spectacular beach wedding. It was such an honor to capture their wedding on Ko Olina beach in Oahu. Julie was the perfect bride and so thoughtful of all her guests. We took sunset pictures the night before their wedding, stay tuned for them!
The Autism Society has been celebrating National Autism Awareness month since the 1970′s. In Portland, A Hope for Autism, founded by Gayle Woodruff and Robbin Sobotka-Soles, held a black tie event at The Benson, to raise awareness and funds for autism. The fundraiser was a success with many thanks to Jordan Blakely, owner of United Charity Development, and Holly Jarvis with Hitched Weddings & Events. The night was filled with a lively fashion show with women’s fashion from Meringue Boutique and men’s fashion from Collier, while DJ Yaz mixed the beats for the runway! Concert rock violinist, Aaron Meyer, gave a wonderful performance before the fashion show and the night ended with a special show from Deen Castronovo and Jonathan Cain from Journey! It was a night filled with great energy and beauty!
Friendly competition. Serious fun. That’s what NW Golf Guys are all about! I went to document one of their golf tournaments at Pumpkin Ridge and had the chance to see what a lively group of guys’ they are!
